We have been in New York City for only 48 hours, and we have been busy. A quick recap of our activities on Thursday and Friday:
Thursday at 2:00 pm: Checked in to the Pod Hotel.
Thursday at 4:30 pm: Visited the Chris Mazilli, owner of Gotham Comedy Club, to talk about the business of comedy.
Thursday at 8:00 pm: Stayed for the Arab American Comedy festival.
Thursday at 11:00 pm: Went to the cage match at New York’s Upright Citizen Brigade.
Friday at 10:20 am: Toured the Friars Club with Barry Dougherty
Friday at 1:00 pm: Checked out the radio and television archives at the Paley Center for Media
Friday at 3:10 pm: Stopped by the line at SNL.
Friday at 5:30 pm: Conducted an experiment of the effects of drinking on humor creation with a creative team of the Grey New York.
